The Government of Meghalaya on January 03, 2025, notified the Draft Code on Social Security Meghalaya Rules, 2024.
The following has been stated-
•The definition of year states in (zd) “year” means the financial year, beginning from the 1st day of April and ending with the 31st day of March of the following year.
•The definition of excluded vacancies states in (o) “excluded vacancies” means those vacancies which have been excluded from the purview of Section 139 as per the provisions of sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 140;
•Any objections and suggestions, which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft notification before expiry of forty five days.
•They shall extend to the whole state of Meghalaya
