The Government of Jharkhand on January 21, 2025, issued a Notification on the Aadhaar-Based Implementation of Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme.
Female students pursuing Diploma and Degree Programs in Jharkhand's technical institutions must furnish Aadhaar details or enrollment proof to avail benefits of ₹30,000 or ₹15,000. Aadhaar enrollment facilities will be provided for unregistered beneficiaries. Alternative identity documents will be temporarily accepted until Aadhaar is assigned. Remedial measures, including biometric and OTP-based authentication, ensure seamless access to benefits. Exception handling mechanisms are in place to prevent exclusion of bona fide beneficiaries. Effective from the date of publication in the official gazette.
The notification takes effect from January 21, 2025.
