The Finance Department, Govt. of Rajasthan on January 22, 2025, issued the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement (Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Rules, 2013.
This shall come into force from January 22, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: –
• In rule 36 which states the Preparation of bidding documents, after the existing clause (f) and before the existing clause (g), a new clause (ff) shall be inserted. It states that a contractor/approved bidder may sub-contract/sub-let, without prior approval of the procuring entity, to QRated Score startups up to 20% of the original contract value, limited to Rs. 1 crore for bronze, Rs. 2 crores for silver, Rs. 5 crores for gold, and Rs. 10 crores for platinum/signature QRated score startups.
