The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) on January 16, 2025, issued the Draft KERC (Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum and Ombudsman) (Third Amendment) Regulations 2025 to amend the KERC (Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum and Ombudsman) Regulations 2004.
The following has been stated: -
•The existing Clauses mentioned in Column-3 of the table below shall be substituted/inserted by those mentioned in Column-4.
•These shall apply to all the Licensees engaged in the distribution of Electricity and the Consumers of Electricity in the State of Karnataka.
The Stakeholders / interested persons are requested to file their comments/views/suggestions/objections, if any on or before February 10, 2025.
