EHS Compliance The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on January 22, 2025, issued the Environment (Protection) Amendment Rules, 2025 to further amend the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986.

The following amendments have been stated:

• In SCHEDULE-I, in Sl. No. 74, in the notes, in serial number 2, in paragraph (b) for the words “one year”, the words "two year four months and seven days” shall be substituted.

They shall come into force on January 22, 2025.
