The Ministry of Labour & Employment (MoL&E) on January 23, 2025, issued a notification regarding the All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourers – December 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•The CPI-AL and CPI-RL indices remained unchanged at 1320 and 1331 points in December 2024.
•Year-on-year inflation rates were 5.01% (CPI-AL) and 5.05% (CPI-RL).
•These rates are lower than December 2023's 7.71% and 7.46%.
•Inflation rates also decreased from November 2024's 5.35% and 5.47%.
