The Government of Goa on January 23, 2025, issued a notification regarding the implementation of the Guidelines for Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP), 2024 to grant impetus to Ease of Doing Business in the State.
The following has been stated: -
•The Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board (Goa-IPB) is implementing the 2024 Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) to enhance the Ease of Doing Business in Goa.
•Key changes include making PAN the unique business identifier for all government-business transactions.
•New businesses can use an online wizard to identify necessary approvals and clearances, integrated with the National Single Window System. Departments must notify Goa-IPB of any changes to licenses or clearances, which will be updated in the system within 30 days.
•A compliance dashboard will be developed to track due dates for renewals and filings, sending automated reminders to businesses.
