Industry Specific Compliance The Municipal Administration and Water Supply (Election) Department, Tamil Nadu, on January 06, 2025, issued a notification regarding the commencement of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies (Second Amendment) Act, 2024.

The following has been stated: -

•The Governor of Tamil Nadu has appointed January 06, 2025, when all sections of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies (Second Amendment) Act, 2024, except sub-section (1) of section 36, will come into effect.
