Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange, (NSE), on January 24, 2025, issued a notification Trading Supported by Blocked Amount in Secondary Market - Update on UCC Deregistration Request for ASBA Clients.

This is in reference to NCL circulars regarding Trading Supported by Blocked Amounts in the Secondary Market.

Deregistration Requests: Any deregistration request received by the clearing corporation from Exchanges on "T" day will be processed and made effective on the same "T" day.

UCC Status Change: Upon a successful deregistration notification from the CC via API, the UCC will be considered as "Not Opted for UPI Block Facility" effective from "T" day itself.

There is no change in the processing of UCC registration requests.

This update will take effect from January 27, 2025. Members are requested to make a note of the same.
