Labour Compliance The Government of Mizoram on January 23, 2025, declared poll day of the Local Council Election as a holiday for Government servants.

The Governor of Mizoram declared February 12, 2025 (Wednesday) as Public Holiday for all Government Servants including employees under Central/State Public Undertakings, Educational Institutions and Banking Institutions within Aizawl Municipality and Lunglei Municipality to enable the electors to exercise their franchise in the forthcoming General Election to Local Councils, 2025.
