The National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) on January 23, 2025, issued a circular regarding the Facility for reporting details of NISM qualified Associate persons by DPs through the NSDL ePASS Portal.
The attention of Participants is invited to Circular No. NSDL/POLICY/2014/0090 dated April 21, 2014, wherein the Associated Persons engaged or employed by a registered Participant in certain specified activities are required to have certification from National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) by passing the NISM-Series-VI: Depository Operations Certification Examination (DOCE).
In this context, Participants shall be required to submit the information of NISM certification details of the eligible associated persons engaged or employed in DP operations on a half-yearly basis within stipulated timeline as per the table below:

All participants are hereby informed that NSDL has developed a facility for submitting aforesaid details through an online portal i.e., NSDL e-PASS (https://www.epass.nsdl.com/epass/) and e-PASS portal is enabled for the first submission of the above-mentioned details as on December 31, 2024. Participants are informed to submit the details on or before January 31, 2025.
The procedure for submitting the NISM details of eligible associated persons on e-PASS and salient features are enclosed as Annexure A. The existing maker/checker user of Participants will be able to access the aforesaid feature on e-PASS through their existing log-in IDs.
