The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on January 21, 2025, issued the date of establishment and withdrawal of certain Indian Standards (IS).
The following IS have been established on January 10, 2025 namely: -

• IS 15199 (Part 1) : 2025 IEC 61287-1 : 2014 Railway Applications — Power Converters Installed on Board Rolling Stock Part 1 Characteristics and Test Methods (First Revision)
• IS/IEC 60034-5 : 2020 Rotating Electrical Machines Part 5 Degrees of Protection Provided by the Integral Design of Rotating Electrical Machines (IP Code) — Classification (Third Revision)
• IS/IEC 60071-2 : 2023 Insulation Co-ordination Part 2 Application Guidelines (Second Revision)
