The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on January 24, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Amendment in import Policy Condition of Glufosinate Technical covered under HS Code 38089390 of Chapter 38 of Schedule -I (Import Policy) of ITC (HS) 2022.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Central Government hereby extends the Minimum Import Price (MIP) condition on the following ITC HS Code of Glufosinate Technical under Chapter 38 of the ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule -I (Import Policy) for a period of one
• The year of extension is from January 24, 2025 to January 23, 2026
• The revised policy condition is namely: -
“(a) If registered and not prohibited for import under Insecticides Act, 1968 and formulations thereof.
(b) Import of 'Glufosinate and its salts' (Purity Minimum 95% w/w) is "Restricted" for CIF value below Rs. 1289/- per Kg.
(c) However, import of 'Glufosinate and its salts' is "Free" for CIF value of Rs. 1289/- or above per Kg
(d) The said policy condition shall be reviewed after a period of one year w.e.f. the date of publication of this notification.”
