The Government of Tamil Nadu on January 20, 2025, issued a notification regarding the General Election to Legislative Assembly.
In light of the scheduled by-election for the 98. Erode (East) Assembly Constituency on February 05, 2025 (Wednesday):
All employees working in Erode and neighbouring districts but registered as voters in the 98. Erode (East) Assembly Constituency shall be granted a paid holiday on 05.02.2025 to enable them to cast their votes.
All Government offices, industrial establishments under Government control, and educational institutions within the 98. Erode (East) Assembly Constituency in Erode district will remain closed on February 05, 2025.
