Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Madhya Pradesh on January 16, 2025, notified the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporations (Amendment) Act 2024 to further amend the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporations) Act 1956.

The following has been stated-

•In Section 23-A, in Sub-section (1), (1) in the opening paragraph, for the words "two thirds" the words "three fourths" shall be substituted; 

•In Section 23-A in clause (i) of the proviso, for the words "two years" the words "three years" shall be substituted.
