Industry Specific ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd., (MCX), on January 27, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Due Date Rates Index Futures Contracts.

As per the Rules, Bye-Laws, and Regulations of the Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCXCCL), Clearing Members are informed that index futures contracts shall be cash settled at expiry based on the Due Date Rate (DDR)/Final Settlement Price as specified in the contract specifications. For the MCXMETLDEX index futures contract expiring in January 2025, the DDR computed by MCX is ₹17,738.00 as of 24-01-2025, with a base quantity of 1 index point. Clearing Members are requested to note this for settlement purposes.
