Industry Specific ComplianceThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on January 24, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Implementation of APAAR ID as the Primary Identifier for students of CBSE Affiliated Schools.

Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID system under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Digital India initiative.

APAAR ID is a unique 12-digit identifier that provides students with a secure, lifelong digital identity. Integrated with DigiLocker, it consolidates academic and extracurricular records, including exam results, learning outcomes, and achievements in sports, Olympiads, and skill training. Supporting the "One Nation, One Student ID" initiative, APAAR ensures seamless continuity, transparency, and accessibility throughout a student's educational journey.

The APAAR ID system aims to provide students with a unified, lifelong digital platform for securely managing academic and extracurricular records, promoting transparency, accountability, and efficiency in education. Supporting the "One Nation, One Student ID" initiative, it ensures seamless continuity across institutions while aligning with the Digital India vision.
