The Goods and Service Tax Network (GSTN) on January 27, 2025, issued a notification regarding Hard - Locking of auto-populated liability in GSTR-3B.
The following has been stated: -
•The restriction on editing auto-populated liabilities in GSTR-3B, scheduled for January 2025, has been postponed due to requests from the trade.
•The change will not be implemented in the January tax period. It will be introduced later, and taxpayers are encouraged to prepare for this update.
•Further information will be provided when the change is implemented.
