The Government of Andhra Pradesh on January 27, 2025, issued a notification regarding the exemption of Stamp Duty and Registration Fee for Land Transfer to APICDC for Industrial Development.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government of Andhra Pradesh has exempted stamp duty and registration fees on sale deeds to be executed by APIIC in favor of AP Industrial Corridors Infrastructure Development Corporation (APICDC). This exemption applies to the transfer of 2621.15 cents of land in the villages of Meedivemula, Uppalapadu, and N. Konthalapadu in Oravakal Mandal, Kurnool District.
•The exemption is granted under Section 9(1) (a) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, and Section 78 of the Registration Act, 1908. This initiative aims to facilitate the land transfer process for developing industrial corridors.
