The National Stock Exchange, (NSE), on January 28, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Market Data broadcast – Discontinuation of Existing MTBT – Update.
In reference to Exchange circular NSEIFSC/TRADE/1823 dated September 16, 2024, regarding the discontinuation of the Existing MTBT, the Exchange had earlier informed that both the Existing and Enhanced MTBT would be available in parallel until the end of January 2025. Members are now advised that this parallel availability has been extended until the end of February 2025. Accordingly, the Existing MTBT will be discontinued, and only the Enhanced MTBT will be available from March 3, 2025. Members still using the Existing MTBT are urged to begin developing and implementing the Enhanced MTBT in the live environment as soon as possible. All other details mentioned in the previous circulars remain unchanged.
