The Government of Mizoram on January 28, 2025, issued notification declaring holiday on February 12, 2025 in certain districts.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The following districts have been stated namely: -

“Aizawl, Lunglei, Serchhip, Champhai, Mamit, Kolasib, Saitual, Khawzawl and Hnahthial Districts”

• The Public Holiday is for all Government Sen-ants including employees under Central/State Public Undertakings, Educational Institutions and Banking Institutions.
