The National E-Governance Services Limited (NeSL) on January 29, 2025, issued a communiqué regarding the Integration with NeSL for e-BG Services – Karnataka Procurement Portals.
The attention has been invited to all the registered Banks issuing e-BG on the NeSL e-BG DDE Platform to the G.O. cited (Annexure-1) wherein the Government of Karnataka ordered the integration of electronic bank guarantee submission facility of NeSL with the Karnataka Public Procurement Portal (KPPP). State Bank of India, Canara Bank, Karnataka Bank, Bank of Baroda, and HDFC Bank have already integrated with the KPPP for issuing e-BG. Whereas, the Integration with other banks is in progress.
The centre for e-Governance, Government of Karnataka vide its letter Number CEG-13011/20/2022 dated January 23, 2025, has issued instructions to Government departments/entities to accept e-BG as a Security Deposit for all their procurement related activities (Annexure-2).
The applicant will be approaching the bank with a challan (refer to Image 7 in the user Manual) issued by the KPPP for issuing e-BG.
The banks are advised to refer to the User Manual issued by the KPPP attached (Annexure-3) for information.
