EHS ComplianceThe Central Pollution Control Board, (CPCB) on January 29, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Fraudulent Impersonators and Fake Notices.

Public notice warning against fraudulent individuals posing as CPCB officers, employees, or consultants. These impostors are illegally entering industries, construction sites, and other establishments under the pretence of pollution monitoring and issuing fake notices.

CPCB clarifies that it has not appointed any consultants and does not recognize such individuals. Industries, agencies, and the general public are advised not to entertain any requests, phone calls, or directions from these fake persons. Any such incidents should be immediately reported to the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) or the Office of the Member Secretary, CPCB for necessary action.
