Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Medical Commission (NMC) on January 30, 2025, issued a notification regarding an alert against Impersonation Calls from Fraudulent NMC Officials.

The following has been stated: -

•The NMC has warned medical colleges about impersonators posing as NMC officials to solicit money. The NMC Chairman and Board Presidents do not make such calls. 

•Medical college authorities are advised not to engage with these impersonators and to report any such incidents to the police immediately. 

•Any action taken based on these fraudulent calls is at the individual’s own risk. The notice aims to protect colleges from misinformation and unauthorized activities.
