The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on January 30, 2025, notified regarding the Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC) towards Authorised Persons.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that an AMC of Rs 5,000/—each will be applicable for all registered APs across segments, and the AMC will be imposed in April 2025 for the next Financial Year 2025-2026.
• It states that once charged, the AMC will not be refunded even if AP registration is cancelled during the year for any reason.
• It further states that trading Members shall cancel the registration of APs that have displayed prolonged inactivity, spanning a period of six months or more, before March 31, 2025, to avoid AMC being levied.
