The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on January 29, 2025, issued the Control of Air Pollution (Grant, Refusal or Cancellation of Consent) Guidelines, 2025
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Central Board and Industrial plant.
•Rule 3 specifies the Form of application for consent and fees.
•Rule 4 specifies the Validity period of consent.
•Rule 5 specifies The fee for Consent.
They shall come into force on January 31, 2025.
