The Government of Uttar Pradesh on January 28, 2025, notified Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development (Assessment, Levy and Collection of Impact Fee) Rules, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Built-up area and Covered Area.
•Rule 3 specifies the Levy of impact fee.
•Rule 4 specifies Assessment and rates of impact fee.
•Rule 5 specifies the Procedure for grant of approval.
They shall come into force from January 28, 2025.
