The Government of Goa on January 30, 2025, issued the Draft Goa Land Revenue (Issuance of Identification and Corresponding Certificate) (Amendment) Rules, 2025 further to amend the Goa Land Revenue (Issuance of Identification and Corresponding Certificate) Rules, 2018.
The following has been stated: -
•In rule 5 in sub-rule (1), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: — “Provided that such fees shall not apply to the Government Departments for issuance of identification and correspondence certificate to them.”
•In rule 6, for clauses (i) and (ii) the following clauses shall be respectively substituted namely:—
(i)For an area measuring 2,500 sq. mts. or for one holding irrespective of area, — ` 2,500/-.
(ii)For every additional area measuring 500 sq. mts. or part thereof — ` 1,000/-.
All objections and/or suggestions may be submitted before the expiry of fifteen days from January 30, 2025.
