The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on January 29, 2025, issued the date of establishment of certain Indian Standards (IS).
The following IS have been established on January 17, 2025 namely: -
• IS 9385 (Part 6) : 2025 IEC 60282-4 : 2020 High-Voltage Fuses Part 6 Additional Testing Requirements for High-Voltage Expulsion Fuses Utilizing Polymeric Insulators
• IS 18818 : 2025 IEC 63333 : 2023 General Method for Assessing the Proportion of Reused Components in Products
• IS 18925 (Part 2) : 2025 IEC 62561-2 : 2018 Lightning Protection System Components (LPSC) Part 2 Requirements for Conductors and Earth Electrodes
• IS 18925 (Part 6) : 2025 IEC 62561-6 : 2023 Lightning Protection System Components (LPSC) Part 6 Requirements for Lightning Strike Counters (LSCs)
