The Tea Board India on January 31, 2025, issued the amendment regarding the notification which states “commencement of plucking of green tea leaves and manufacturing of tea in Dooars, Terai and Bihar”
The following has been stated namely: -
• The date of commencement of plucking of green tea leaves and manufacturing of tea in Dooars, Terai and Bihar plantation regions stands revised to February 10, 2025 instead of February, 17 2025.
• The commencement date for plucking of tea leaves and manufacturing of tea for Darjeeling Hills and Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand regions and other related terms and conditions remains same/unchanged.
