The Government of Uttar Pradesh on January 28, 2025, issued the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development (Assessment, Levy and Collection of Development Permit Fee, Building Permit Fee and Inspection Fee) Rules, 2024.
This shall come into force on January 28, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• They shall apply to all the development areas of Uttar Pradesh State.
• Rule 3 states the Assessment, Levy, and Collection of Fees.
• Rule 5 states that the applicant shall pay the full amount of the development permit fee, building permit fee, and inspection fee, as the case may be, before the grant of permission.
• Rule 7 states that the Vice-Chairman shall submit a written statement to the Board on permit and inspection fees collected in the previous year, ideally in the first meeting of each financial year, with a copy sent to the Government.
