The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on February 01, 2025, amended an older notification No. 19/2019-Customs, dated July 06, 2019, related to exemptions for specified defense equipment and their parts from Basic Customs Duty.
The following has been stated: -
•In the notification, in the TABLE, against serial numbers 10, 11, 12, and 13,-
(i)In column (2), for the words and figures “or 90”, the figures and words “90 or 93” shall be substituted.
(ii)In column (3), - (a) the word “Ammunition” shall be omitted;
(b)After item (II) the following item shall be inserted namely: - “(III) Ammunitions for the goods mentioned at item (I) above”.
•This notification shall come into force on February 02, 2025.
