The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on January 31, 2025, issued the corrigendum to Notification No. 06/2025-Integrated Tax (Rate), dated January 16, 2025 regarding “insurance provided by the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund”
The following has been stated namely: -
• On page 18, in the Table, in column (3),
“Constituted under section 164B of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988) Insurance services provided by the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund against the contribution made by insurers out of the premium collected for third party insurance of motor vehicles.” Has been substituted to state: -
"Insurance services provided by the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund constituted under section 164B of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988) against the contributions made by insurers out of the premiums collected for third party insurance of motor vehicles."
