The Mira Bhaindar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) on January 30, 2025, notified regarding the uprooting of dangerous trees.
It states that Tamarind Tree of 30 to 35 feet of 25 years and 23 years, located in Miragaon, Mahajanwadi, Mira Road (East), the roots of both trees have penetrated the municipal drainage system, causing frequent blockages. Additionally, the trees are leaning, and their branches frequently fall onto house roofs, causing damage. Strong winds may cause the trees to fall, posing a risk to life and property.
Therefore, it is necessary to uproot these two trees completely.
