The Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Department, Maharashtra on January 31, 2025, issued the Draft Maharashtra Animal Preservation (Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend Maharashtra Animal Preservation Rules, 1978.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In Rule 3 for the words "rupees twenty" the words "rupees two hundred" shall be substituted.
• In the Schedule appended to the principal Rules, in the Form of Certificate, in entry 4, for the words "rupees twenty" the words "rupees two hundred shall be substituted."
Objections and Suggestions may be sent by March 03, 2025 to the Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department.
