The Government of Himachal Pradesh on January 27, 2025, issued the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions (Regulatory Commission) Amendment Act, 2024, to further amend the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions (Regulatory Commission) Act, 2010.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In section 13, which states about the “Annual report”, after sub-section (2), a new sub-section, shall be inserted, namely: - “(3) The Commission shall submit its recommendations of the annual report and annual accounts, as submitted to the Commission by the Private Universities in respect of each University every year to the State Government, who shall cause the same to be laid before the Legislative Assembly”.
