Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW) on February 04, 2025, notified regarding the steps taken to maintain the quality of education in the Pharmacy sector.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that as per Education Regulation, 2020, of the Pharmacy Council of India, Staff to student ratio of D. Pharm Course should not exceed 1:20 in theory classes and practical classes.

• It further provides that the Central Government is enhancing pharmacy education quality through Aadhar authentication for transparency, a single-window pharmacist registration system, pharmacovigilance collaboration with IPC, tech-driven inspections, B. Pharm curriculum revision, faculty and student portals, and an improved assessment system with QCI.
