The Department of Information Technology & Communications, Govt. of Rajasthan on January 29, 2025, issued the Rajasthan AVGC-XR Policy 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The policy envisions transforming Rajasthan into a global AVGC-XR hub by fostering innovation, developing a skilled talent pool for employment, and creating a sustainable ecosystem for original IP, startups, and entrepreneurs.
• It aims to The policy aims to boost Rajasthan’s economy by attracting AVGC-XR investments, expanding market access, creating employment with future-ready skills, and showcasing local culture globally.
• It shall apply to AVGC-XR Companies registered and/or having operations in Rajasthan, Startups registered under the iStart program, incubators, academic institutes, students, SMEs, and others as defined in the Policy or notified by the Government from time to time.
• The shall remain in force till March 31, 2029.
