The Government of Kerala on February 06, 2025, issued a notification regarding the waiving of the Stamp duty and registration fees.
The following has been stated namely: -
• As part of the Kerala Industrial Policy 2023, stamp duty and registration fees will be waived for manufacturing units.
• Entrepreneurs setting up manufacturing units in government industrial parks and notified private industrial parks will be exempted from stamp duty and registration fees for the purpose of registration, entering into lease agreements or purchasing land/building.
• This is subject to the condition that the Industries Department should ensure that the manufacturing units are creating better employment opportunities.
