The Water Resources Department, Govt. of Jharkhand on February 05, 2025, notified regarding the Online Payment Procedure of Online Payment of Fees.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the Jharkhand Surface Water Allocation Rules-2023 mandates a Rs. 20,000 application fee for water allotment, and since online payment via the Single Window Portal is not yet available, the fee can be paid through Guest User Login on Jharkhand Online Government Receipts Accounting System (JeGRAS) as an interim arrangement.
• It further provides that after paying the application fee, it will be mandatory to submit the certificate of payment along with the application.
• The detailed procedure for paying the water allocation application fee is attached (Annexure-I).
