The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on February 07, 2025, issued a notification regarding Liquidity Adjustment Facility - Change in rates.
The following has been stated: -
•The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) has reduced the policy repo rate under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) by 25 basis points, from 6.50% to 6.25%. As a result, the standing deposit facility (SDF) rate is now 6.00%, and the marginal standing facility (MSF) rate is 6.50%.
•All other terms of the LAF scheme remain unchanged.
