Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on February 07, 2025, issued a circular regarding a revision in the Expiry Date of Futures Contract expiring on March 31, 2025.

The following has been stated: -

•Due to the closure of the physical market, the expiry dates for certain futures contracts, originally set for March 31, 2025, have been revised to March 28, 2025. 

•This change applies to contracts for commodities like Aluminium, Copper, Lead, and others. Although the original expiry date will still appear on the Market Watch Screen, trading will only be allowed until March 28, 2025. 

•Updated details will be reflected in the system from February 10, 2025.
