The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) on February 07, 2025, issued the Draft Central Motor Vehicles (……..Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In rule 81, in the TABLE,
o for serial number (4B) and the entries relating thereto, have been substituted.
o after serial number (4B) and the entries relating thereto, the serial number (4C) has been inserted.
o after serial number (10A) and the entries relating thereto, the serial number (10B) has been inserted.
o For serial number (11A) and the entries relating thereto, have been substituted.
o below the TABLE, after Note 2, the following note shall be inserted, namely: -
Note 3.- All fees specified in the table above are exclusive of GST.
The Draft is issued for information to all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of 30 days from the date on which the copies of this notification, as published in the Official Gazette, are made available to the public;
