Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on February 10, 2025, issued Guidelines in pursuance of amendment to SEBI KYC (Know Your Client) Registration Agency (KRA) Regulations, 2011.

The following has been stated: -

•Clients with KYC records marked "On Hold" by KRAs from January 01 to 31, 2025, will not be allowed to trade or square up positions from February 22, 2025, until they meet validation requirements. 

•Non-compliant PANs will be flagged as "Not Permitted to Trade." Once KYC compliance is achieved, clients can resume T+1 trading based on KRA updates. 

•The guideline follows amendments to SEBI KYC regulations and recent circulars on simplifying the KYC process.
