The Labour and Skills Department, Kerala on February 10, 2025, issued the notification regarding the use of Aadhaar authentication on voluntary basis, for identification and authentication of member beneficiaries of welfare boards during registration on the AIIS portal.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Labour and Skills Department has been notified for the use of Aadhaar authentication on voluntary basis, for identification and authentication of member beneficiaries of welfare boards during registration on the AIIS portal, for the purpose of disbursement of benefits under various welfare fund schemes as mentioned in Annexure using Yes/No or/and eKYC authentication facility.
• The Secretary, Labour and Skills Department shall seperately notify the methods of identification in case the claimant does not intend to authenticate using his/her Aadhaar
• The consent form is stated in Annexure-A
