The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on February 10, 2025, issued Guidelines for conduct of Practical Examinations in respect of Private Students, 2024-25.
The Practical Examinations for Class XII will be conducted from 15th February 2025 to 15th March 2025 at the same centres designated for theory examinations.
The appointment of External Examiners will be done by the Regional Directors/Officers, while Internal Examiners will be assigned by the Centre Superintendent from the school’s own teachers. If teachers for a specific subject are unavailable, teachers from nearby schools will be appointed as internal examiners.
Answer Books for Practical Examinations will be supplied by the Regional Offices and must be used for conducting practicals. Examiners must ensure all entries are correctly recorded.
After the practical exams, marks for private students will be uploaded on the same day by the centres. The award lists will be signed by both Internal and External Examiners and uploaded as per the guidelines in the SOPs for the conduct of examinations. Schools can access and upload marks through their login accounts.
Students must contact their examination centres with a copy of their previous result/mark sheet and the admit card for the 2025 examination. They should take note of the date and time of their practical exams as scheduled by the examination centre.
