The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on February 11, 2025, notified regarding seeking the details of manually issued Certificates of Origin in contravention.
The following has been stated namely: -
• All exporters are advised not to accept manually issued Certificates of Origin after the specified deadlines, as they will be deemed invalid.
• It states that the manual certificates issued in contravention of the guidelines shall be liable to be rejected by the Customs authorities of the recipient countries.
• It is also requested that information on such contraventions shall be reported to [email protected].
