The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on February 10, 2025, issued the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (Fourth Amendment) Order, 2025, to further amend the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Schedule VI. Has been amended, Against S.No. 207, in column (2) relating to entries ‘Macadamia spp. (Macadamia Nuts)’ and relating to entries ‘Nuts (seeds) for consumption’ in column (3) and relating to entries ‘(i) Australia’ in column (4) the existing entries in column (6) has been replaced.
This shall come into force on February 10, 2025.
