The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on January 27, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Recognizing AICTE QIP-PG Certificates engage lectures in related subject curriculum.
AICTE has launched the AICTE-QIP PG Certificate Program in Emerging Areas for faculty members in core engineering disciplines like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical & Electronics, and Chemical Engineering. The 18-credit program covers advanced fields such as AI, ML, Blockchain, and Semiconductors to enhance faculty expertise. The first batch started in July 2024 at 21 premier institutes, with the next batch commencing in June 2025. AICTE has decided to recognize these certificates as eligibility for faculty to teach related subjects in undergraduate engineering courses, ensuring industry-relevant education in emerging technologies.
