The Ministry of Health & Farmers Welfare (MoH&FW) on February 12, 2025, notified regarding the Conditional extension of timeline to small and medium pharmaceutical manufacturers for compliance with revised Schedule ‘M’ notification.
The following has been stated namely:-
• It states that the deadline has been extended for small and medium manufacturers to comply with revised Schedule M till December 31, 2025, and they have to submit an upgrade plan in Form A by May 11, 2025.
• It further states that the revised Schedule M requirements are a positive step towards ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products being manufactured in India. It would enable the pharma companies to not only strengthen their domestic position but also become more competitive globally.
